The vehicle utilizes a Sinotruk Howo heavy-duty chassis (configured with two front and two rear axles) and is powered by a 380-horsepower Weichai engine, a Howo 12-speed transmission, and a flange-type power take-off (PTO). With ample power reserves and high low-speed torque, it effectively overcomes challenges such as difficulty starting under heavy loads, sluggish performance on mountain inclines, and poor maneuverability on complex construction sites. A 318mm triple-layer frame, reinforced multi-leaf springs, quadruple U-bolts, and dual 16-ton hub-reduction rear axles provide a robust load-bearing foundation for long-term, high-frequency lifting operations; meanwhile, a V-type thrust rod and three differential locks further enhance stability when fully loaded and improve the vehicle's ability to navigate out of muddy terrain or steep slopes. The superstructure features an XCMG 16-ton crane with a five-section boom (maximum reach of 19 meters), equipped with dual-section, dual-cylinder front outriggers, a plunger pump, an OEM oil cooler, and a planetary slewing system. These features address issues such as insufficient reach for long-distance lifting, excessive oil temperatures during continuous operation, and instability when slewing heavy loads, making the vehicle ideal for the lifting and transport of large-scale equipment, steel structures, construction materials, and engineering supplies.
